Jersey Leonis Boxing Club is incredibly proud to announce that Brian Follain has been appointed Honorary Life President of the club.

Brian's journey with Jersey Leonis began in 1958, when, at just 15 years old, he walked through the club doors as a young boxer.

More than six decades later, his connection with the club and with boxing remains just as special.

Brian went on to become a judge, referee and England Boxing Supervisor, serving the sport at a high level until around 2016.

But his contribution goes far beyond his own achievements.

For generations of officials, Brian has been a mentor, teacher, adviser and friend, generously sharing his knowledge and experience and helping many others develop their own journeys in boxing.

His dedication, knowledge and service have made a lasting contribution to our club and to boxing, and we are delighted that his extraordinary association with Jersey Leonis is being recognised in this way.

Congratulations, Brian, on your appointment as Honorary Life President, and thank you for everything you have given to Jersey Leonis and to boxing since 1958.
